STEPHANIE
DESIREE HUEBNER: Is a multi talented actress, who has since early
childhood, appeared in several Independent Films and numerous
local productions; plays and musicals. She writes poetry, sings
and speaks several languages.
Currently, she is the lead actress, in an Independent Film, "DESCENDANTS
OF WOLVES", produced by Genesis Productions, and Directed
by Producer, Robert James. In it she plays the unsuspecting girl
friend of a werewolf. Stephanie blithely goes through the entire
movie innocently unaware of her boyfriend's inclinations.
She's versatile. In her first film, for Genesis Productions, also
Directed by Robert James, Stephanie played a prostitute who looked
very sexy throughout and then at the end ... unfortunately is
murdered.
A High School production of Thorton Wilder's "THE SKIN
OF OUR TEETH", introduced Stephanie to her potential,
when the Director recognized her abilities and gave her seven
characters to portray in the same production. She has also played
the Red Chess Queen in Medford's "ALICE IN WONDERLAND".
And then went from the Red Queen to a simple 'Villager' in "MEDIA".
She has modeled for Medford's Shopping Center, been a 'contender'
and talented singer and songwriter in Medford's Beauty Contests.
And has appeared in a Medford, Barnes & Noble TV commercial.
At the Criterion Playhouse, she was part of many comedy sketches
for Speak Softly Productions. A Stage producer, Charles Frohman,
had taken over the former "Lyric" and renamed it the
"Criterion" in honor of London's Piccadilly Circus.
For a movie produced by Speak Softly Productions, "WILD
WILD WEST RESORT", Directed by the film's Producer,
Linda King, Stephanie, played a 'Brat'.
In the world famed BRIT MUSICAL FESTIVAL in Medford, Oregon, Stephanie
played a twin in the Musical, ''THE KING AND I".
Stephanie says, "I think it's best to take any part that
shows up. I don't want to get stuck in a particular role. Playing
different characters, helps an actor to stretch and to grow. I
don't want to be type cast."
She added, "Right now, my favorite actress is Whoopi Goldberg.
She was great in "SISTER ACT". But I enjoy
all her films. It's hard to zero in on one. She never turns in
a bad performance. And I can't think of anyone who could ever
top Robin Williams in, "BIRD CAGE". He's a genius. As
to America Ferrera ~ she's a pretty good actress. I like her."
